Default IN-DASH Clock

its not urgent, but annoying, i drove around for moths being able to know the time, but ever since i changed my head unit, my clock doesn't work, it will work if i hit the button, but it doesnt have any memory, so every time i turn my car on, it says 1:00. if someone could help me out, it would be great. i drive a 1994 accord ex, A/T.

i changed my head unit like 5 times, and this last one broke the clock.

The wht/yel wire going to the clock should have 12V at all times so the clock can keep the proper memory. See if that wire loses power when you turn off the radio.

You will have to trace that wire to see what happened when you installed the new radio.

the wires were crossed, so i fixed it, but now neither of them work, i am just going to get a new head unit, and have it installed the right way.

unless anyone has anymore ideas of whats wrong.
