Default Dash flickering 2004 accord

Hello, new here, I'm trying to figure out whats going on with the dash. When the lights are on, the instrument cluster, radio, and climate controls all illuminate brightly. Even at night. But occasionally they will flicker between being bright and dim (as they should be at night). Its a 2004 accord. 2.4L. Battery and alternator recently replaced. Headlights work fine. From my research i found that it shouldn't have an ambient light sensor on the dash, which is what i thought would be the issue. So I'm not sure what to check now. Any advice?

Welcome! This isn't an "engine/internal" question, so I'll move it to General Tech where more people will probably see it.

I think there's a control for dashboard brightness. Something like a little **** to twist? Got an owner's manual to see where that's located? It sounds to me like that control is flaky.
