Correction, the two smaller plugs that plug into the top of the gauges do NOT have power.. only the larger one to the left does. I checked every fuse both at the kick panel near the clutch, as well as the underhood fuses. None are blown. The check engine light does not come on, but the battery light did, when the key was left on. Also, which lights should come on, and then go off, when i start the car?

Thanks so far!

Heres some more information, i should have thought of it sooner, but is all the factory wiring wrapped in black? Under the dash of my accord is a lot of yellow wiring/wrap does this mean that something was fixed or installed at one point or another? This car is a mystery to me... I have worked on some messed up cars before, but this one takes the cake.

on the left kick panel , above the fuses, there is a blue plug 18 pins , chk to see if you have power at the yellow wire there,,,key on,,
if you do,, also chk to see if there is power at the gauge assembly green plug 22 pins , same wire, also make sure you got a good ground on the black wire

if not and fuse is ok,, you got a wiring issue ..

let us know

DO NOT TOUCH THE YELLOW WRAPPED WIRING!
AND YES, CAPS LOCK WAS NECCISARY FOR THAT SENTENCE!

ALL YELLOW WIRES ARE AIRBAG / SRS CONTROLS!

MESS WITH THE WRONG WIRES AND YOUR AIRBAGS CAN DEPLOY! or worse, not deploy when you need them.

sorry, just had to get that across.

I would obviously suggest following what DH said since he is the man, but I'm starting to wonder on an off hand gut feeling if the yellow wire that goes from the fuse panel and up to your instrument cluster came loose....

And as stated you want the yellow colored wires not the ones wrapped in a yellow casing of sorts

Exclamation

I'm having all the same problems like he did except when I looked under the dash, I found a Grey plug that was loose from a silver box. I re-connected it and my power windows/sunroof stopped working along with my dash lights and gauges! I need help, that blue plug you spoke about is still in the right spot in my vehicle! I also have 1994 honda accord just like this guy.
