I'm helping a friend out with her 02 Honda Accord. We installed a new stereo and made the classic mistake with the dimmer wire, resulting in the instrument cluster backlight and running lights not working. After doing a bunch of research, we determined the problem was probably the driver side multiplex unit. We replaced the unit but it did not fix the issue. Any ideas on another solution?

 

What trim level and how many doors does the car have......might help if the below doesn't work out.

Recheck the #10 fuse in the pass side under dash fuse box - 10 or 15 amp depending on coupe or sedan.
