I'm sure Honda marks up the price on their parts. Honda may require manufacturers to have better specs/materials in their parts as well.

I've used Denso brand parts in place of OEM Honda parts without issues.

I read your other post. I typically don't replace parts unless I test them and find they are giving you a problem. It looks like you are getting around 350 miles per full tank? That was about what I got on my 95 accord when it was in its prime. If I did all highway miles, I could get 425 miles from a full tank. Even made it to 460 one time.

Same here with Denso parts, as they are a high quality part. Stay away from Bosch though, as the quality has been slipping the last 8 or 10 years now.
I also agree on not replacing parts until they've been tested bad.

In winter no, a few times it did not even reach 300 miles but there are to many variables for this car, over sixty five M.P.H gas mileage drops. Are driving habits different in winter, more short trips I cant answer all of them. I just know as a whole gas mileage drops during the winter and the check engine light comes on sometimes when its in the teens temperature wise. Thanks for your reply.
