With lots of help from this forum, I was able to buy the correct Bosch distributor ( 03422 ) for my 2000 Honda Accord LX, 2.3 engine, F23A4 ULEV. Then I did all my research again to ensure the Bosch rotor I would buy would be the right one. I even called Bosch and gave them every detail. They verified that the correct rotor is Bosch 04313. So I ordered it and it's bigger than my current rotor and it doesn't fit. The set screw doesn't even line up. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Thanks. Dennis

Thanks for the reply poorman212, but the rotor just doesn't fit. Too large and the set screw hole doesn't match up at all. Interestingly, it seems to be the one designated for the Bosch 03422 distributor cap I bought before. The cap is a perfect match. I've been in touch with Bosch on this and they sent me the "other" rotor specified for this 2000 Accord LX. It doesn't fit either. Is it me, or this a very strange situation? Could Honda have made a Hitachi distributor that was only used very briefly and therefore rotor manufacturers did not bother to make a rotor for it?

 

Think maybe they put the wrong one in the box........go to your local parts store and see what they have.
