Did all 06 LX Have Keyless Entry?
Hey all, my GF just bought a 2006 Accord LX SE. All it cam with was basically a valet key. I have googled for an hour and am completely lost in a vortex of conflicting answers. I am curious, did ALL 06 LX come with keyless standard? What is a way to locate the 'keyless recieving module' for me to know if it came with it? I've found people referring to its location in the door panel, behind the cigaratte lighter, in the trunk, etc.. really just want a knowledgeable answer on where it would be located. Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks!
Thanks!

Only if the LX had V6 did it have keyless entry/security system.
The following had keyless entry/security systems: U.S. EX, EX-L, LX-V6 and EX-V6
Canadian SE, EX-L, SE-V6 and EX-V6 (A Canadian SE is like a U.S. EX for that generation.)
Keyless Receiver Antenna is located at, and integrated as part of the driver's door multiplex control unit (mcu). The driver's door mcu is part of the car's multiplex integrated control system and communicates with the Multiplex Integrated Control Unit (MICU) located and is an integrated part of the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box. -- Both control units are required for a properly functioning keyless entry system.
