Dilemma..I LOVE my car..but is it worth it?
So, I put a lot of miles on to my car and I love it, but is it worth it?
I just replaced the transmission last year, the radiator this year, I’ve kept up with the timing belt replacements, etc. I have to replace all the struts and the front brakes. Should I put more money into it, should I invest in performance parts and what kind of parts, or do I give up on it? The engine is in great shape (but that’s a Honda for you). Any suggestions?

Is there something specific that needs replaced/repaired?
You will always have to maintain your car (oil, tires, spark plugs, brakes, suspension, etc....).
Worth is a relative term.
Here how I think about it financially. Estimate a car payment on the car you would buy right now (lets say $300/month). If you consistently spend more than that payment averaged over 3 months ($900 in 3 months for repairs), then it is not worth keeping in my opinion.

if its just struts and front brakes i would say yes. You are always goign to have to do brakes no matter how new or old your car is. I would suggest learning how to do them yourself as you can save a ton of money doing that. A normal brake job for just pads at a shop costs $100 or more.....but pads are $30-80 depending on what brand you get.
