Default Dimming Head Lights

I have '99 accord coupe V-6 and I notice at night when I let the windows up or unlock/lock the doors the front headlights dim. Can anyone tell me how i can get the lights not to dim or what causes them to dim?

happens in my car too, i think it happens to everyone...nothing to worry about, isnt it cause all that stuff runs from one source which is your battery?

its either ur alternator or your battery. Every time you use things in your car that require electricity it drains the battery and puts a load on alternator. Things like heated seats are deadly and can actually drain the battery if you leave then on for a while car is
running at low rpm.
Check your alternator & battery.
Good luck!

I have a 2005 accord and everytime my rad fan turns of via defrost or aircondtioning... the headlights dim about 40% for a split second. Really pisses me off. I took it in to have a look twice. Both times theyve changed the relay switch ( as rad fan turns on every 40 seconds wether its warm or cold ) and it still cycles every 40 seconds. I have two other friends who both own 2005 accords and they have the same issue... so its a inherent problem. Honda admits this too.

Im wondering is changing the battery to a large one or installing a capisitor ( like one installed for aftermarket stero systems that drain alot of power ) would work? Ive been told by Honda though that if i do this... i void my warranty. I asked them too do it and they still said it will void the warranty.

Anyone ever try either of these mods to see if the lights dont dim????
