distributer replacement
I have a 92 accord with a code 4 CEL. I was told I need to replace my distributer cause it has a bad crank angle sensor in it. It has a external coil, I have another distributer that came off a 91 accord but has an internal coil. Can i switch them without changing the wiring? Or will i have to redo my coils positive & negative wires?

I would suggest doing a resistance check on that sensor using a volt meter. You would also want to do the same resistance check at the ECU to see if the resistance is the same. Carefully inspect the wiring inside of the distributor as well.
The electrical connectors are different, so you would have to do some wiring work. To make the distributor swap less difficult, I would get the identical distributor. You should be able to find a cheap one at a junkyard.
There is also a ground on the thermostat housing that you may want to unbolt, clean with a wire brush or sandpaper, then reattach. That is an important ground for the ECU.
