Default Does AC Leak Sealer work?

I have a '94 Accord LX that after I charge the AC system with Freon, it will last a couple of weeks before it starts blowing hot air again. Does the AC leak sealer/freon combination work or should I go straight for the dye to try to figure out where the leak is?

Thanks- Dshow

that sealant stuff may work for a while but ultimatley it's just going to clog crap up.... go straight for the dye and fix the problem right the first time

Do Not even think about putting stop leak in the a/c system.. you will turn what could be a cheap and easy job into an expensive and long job.. The expension valve plugs up real easy

once you put freon in then put dye into the system, it will show you where the leak is at .. if no leak is visible in the engine area . it could be leaking at the evaporator ,

Yep, the stuff seals up expansion valve real good. Too bad that's not a good thing.
