I have a 2007 Honda Accord EX. My map lights/dome lights intermittently come on when I go over a bump, turn right or lean my leg against the driver door while driving. is there a switch on the door that is possibly going bad or has a loose connection?

 

Does the "door-open" warning come on at the same time?

Each door has it's switch - a little plunger in the door-frame that gets pushed in when the door closes. Check those are OK. Each one connects its wire to ground when the door is open. So you can also look for the wiring to be making a short to ground somewhere near where you lean your leg against the door.

 

Could also be the switch screws are loose?
