1997 4 door Accord SE

The light for the front passenger door ajar is always lit up, and also keeps the courtesy light on constantly. I have tried replacing the switch, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Any suggestions?

 

Have you verified the switch works?

Adjusting the latch and striker is the next step. Move the hook the door latch catches closer to the car, this will hold the door shut tighter.

 

have you tried adjusting the door striker ???

 

Im leaning towards the switch also..go to AutoZone and get a new one and try it to see if that works...
