Door Switch Problem

So I have been opening my car doors the classic way. And I can't get the door switch to work.... I open it and check to see if the wire is connected to the door switch and it is. When I push on the switch there is this clicking noise so i am guess it works but something else is not working. My friend says it could be the actuator the relay on the wire but I am not sure. Please HELP!!!

It is a 1994 Honda Accord Ex.... Sorrie did not list.. Please Help.
