Default Drive Belt Tensioner Indicator?

2008 Accord 2.4 i-VTEC, 4 cyl., 190hp.
This is my tensioner indicator now at 38,700 miles.
Is this belt good or bad?

Sorry, can't post the URL image, have to figure it out.

You should be fine but I would change it within the next 10K miles

The tension is good, within range. As in your other thread where we also replied, the belt can last way longer, just check for damage, etc.

See this attach pic which shows the proper range with the red marks. The top little red mark is where my pointer is (not shown in pic); I changed the belt on my car pretty recently.

Were you able to replace it from the top or did you have to start belt from the bottom?

You can remove the old belt from the top after you take off the tension. But, when you replace it, it is easier to loop the belt around one of the pulleys at top, then go to the bottom and loop it on the pulley at the bottom, then finish it from the top. It is too tight for my arm to reach the bottom from the top.

I use a Mac Tool belt tensioner tool to make the job easier, you can use other tools (e.g., wrenches, etc.); but, Honda didn't give a lot of room on the I-4. If you use other tools, you may have to move the power steering reservoir out of the way.

redbull-1:
Thanks for the info that will save me some time in figuring it out.
Also, thanks for suggesting the wrench method. Tried it and it works out perfectly for me, specially because the 14mm (closed end) is offset in my wrench and it just cants it off, outwardly, just enough to clear the pulley on top.
I took a picture of the wrench set up in case someone else wants to do it.

Looks good. I did consider using something like a straightened hanger wire to try to loop the belt onto the bottom pulley, etc. so I could just do everything from the top; but, felt I just won't mess around and just did it by hand at the bottom. I think I saw some places that sell a special tool to help loop the belt in tight spaces.
