i understand this is pretty common. how do i get the door open so i can fix it?? i can see the rod move when i pull up on inside door handle but nothing from outside handle. how to tell if it is the lock or whatever? thanks, j

 

Remove the door panel and look at the rod at the latch going from the outer handle upper side to the latch, see if it moves the latch when you operate it,, i have seen the upper clip come off .. but if also you cannot open the door with the inside handle ahy ahy ahy... most likely the dreaded door lock problem,, click on the link below

'91 accord ex wagon... i have drilled about 10, 1/2" holes all around area, then cut out much of the section and don't see anything resembling that little lever. i watched the video and that is right where i'm drilling, nothing. about had it. j
