Default drivers side mirror loose

Hi , The passenger side mirror on my 2017 accord somehow got knocked loose. The video camera and electronics still work, but I have the mirror duck taped to the base to keep it from falling off and hanging by the wires. Is this something that is covered under the general warranty? I am still under 36,000 miles. And if not can someone direct me to a site where I can get repair instructions, it seems like a simple repair to replace a damaged plastic ring/clip that holds the thing in place. Thanks

I think if it was knocked off by something hitting it, there's no warranty. It would have to be defective, or somehow it broke "all by itself". Seems like an uphill battle to prove that to a dealer, but I don't really know...

There's a thread about online repair manuals in the DIY area, so check that. Automanualsource.com is one, but I don't know about 2017 specifically. You can look at the parts drawings on any of several online parts dealers like Rock Auto or Majestic Auto for some guidance too.
