Default driver's side window

my drivers side window will not close. I have checked the fuse and its OK. There seems to be draw on the battery when I move the switch.

Default update

I have the door disassebled to the point where the motor and operator are on the outside. I plugged the control and motor back into each other. When I used the switch on the control panel, the motor will only run in the direction which causes the window to go up. Trying to put the window up does not work at all. Is this a swich problem or a motor problem. Please can anyone help me

Earl

On the electrical connector going to the window motor, there are 2 wires that you will have to probe, the red/yel and the red/blu. You will need a volt meter to do this test.

For the window going down, red/blu will have 12V and red/yel will have continuity to ground.

For window up, red/yel will have the 12V and red/blu will have continuity to ground.

What would be the OHM rating of the motor (1995), and how do you read it?
