Drivers Window will not roll up
I have a 94 accord sedan. The drivers power window rolled down and will not roll back up. I don't hear anything when using the switch. The other 3 windows work fine. I have purchased a new switch and motor/regulator and neither corrected the problem. Any idea what the problem may be? The fuse under the hood for the drivers window is good. I have read about an under the dash fuse box but haven't been able to find it. Could that be it. There is also a "black box" in the drivers door. Not sure if this is a control unit of some kind as I can't find any diagrams that show it. Help!
first off...like a always preach ........DIAGNOSE before replacing parts .........in your case too late for that
chk fuses.......under hood box,,# 28 20 amps,,if ok..\ since the other windows work relay is ok..
at main window switch ( key on) chk for power at green/white wire ......if you get power.. ,,,,At motor , with switch help in UP position chk for power at red/yellow,,
And switch held in DOWN position chk for power at red/blue
chk those and let us know

I have done considerable diagnostics and can't seem to come to a solution. I had the Honda dealer copy pages from the service manual without success. I bought the switch and motor pretty cheap considering the minimum of $200 they wanted just to drive it into the garage. Anyway, as I noted in my previous post, the fuse is good. The green and white wide has no power. Blue/black, white/yell and wht/blk all do have power. I did check for power at red/yel with switch up and no power there. Nor the red/blue with switch down. Is there a way to bypass the switch and hotwire the motor to at least power the motor up. If so what wire would I apply voltage to to drive the window up.
if no power at green/white,, and fuse is ok,, the issue is from underhood fuse box to switch a wiring issue,,,,,,,,,open the left door, chk the connector between door and body, pull back the rubber boot, it is a blue/gray connector , make sure that thwere is not a brake in any of the wires,, if wires look good, chk for power at the green/white wire there ,,
if no power issue is from underhood box to there,,
if power issue is from there to switch
if no power issue is from underhood box to there,,
if power issue is from there to switch
Please let us know what you found. I am experiencing the same issues, as are a bunch of people on here from what I understand. I know that mine is an electrical issue, I just don't know exactly where it is coming from. Thanks to those that have posted on here so far... you have helped out a lot. My problem is that it works intermittently. It will go down fine for a while, but coming up is where it struggles or stops completely. Then the next time it won't go down. I hear the switch clicking. I have changed the motor/regulator due to the sluggish performance. I tested a new switch and had the same problems. I will be working the wires from the switch to the fuse box this weekend. I'm lucky that mine has stopped working in the closed position as I am in Seattle in the rain.
Any suggestions will help immensely, and I will post my answers as well.
