Default DRL light on

I have a 1998 Accord LX and recently had the ignition switch replaced. Immediately after this was done the DRL dash light would come on intermittently. The garage denied that it was connected to the switch replacement . Since then, the light is always on, the daytime running lights don't work, the left high beam doesn't work (I replaced the bulb but no go) and the high beam indicator dash light doesn't work. Every now and then the light flicks off for a few seconds. Does anyone know if this could in any way be connected to the ignition switch replacement? If not, what can I check to get them working? Thanks for any tips.

Since you already replaced the bulb, it may be the DRL module.

Refer to these links:

Generally, the ignition switch replacement is fairly straight forward for your model car, so it may be just a coincidence.

Thanks for the links - it looks quite straightforward and I will give it a try.

Oops, I just noticed that the light is on in the odometer even though no headlights are on. It's not a big deal but it's short of perfection. Any ideas? Did my soldering cause the problem??
