Default DRL module problems

I have a 2004 v6 with the DRL light on. I've switched the highbeam bulbs and replaced one as well, but no change; I only have one highbeam coming on and that DRL light is illuminated. I've been hunting around the internet and see a lot of write-ups on previous generation accords and they talk about a module that is supposed to be under the dash in the area of the steering column. Apparently the solder points inside this module crack but can be re-soldered. I can't seem to see the module, so I'm wondering if this item has been moved on the 7th Gen model. Has anyone here had any experience with this module?

The high beam headlight bulb is usually the number one cause for DRL problems on the later generation Accords.

Try replacing the high beam bulb that doesn't come on in DRL mode.
