DX/LX exhaust on EX

Default DX/LX exhaust on EX

Hi,

I know someone selling an OEM exhaust system from a 97 LX that had about 30k miles on the car before he swapped for a different system. Would there be any negative side effect of running this exhaust on a 96 EX. I realize that they look different ( one tailpipe on LX, two on EX) but is that more of a stylistic thing or is there a great deal more exhaust coming from an EX?

So long as both cars are sedans, would this be swappable? I have an aftermarket replacement exhaust that is getting tired after about 50K miles.

I bet it's the same from the cat back. Dual outlets doesn't mean the exhaust system or mufflers are any bigger.

a DX/LX exhaust will fit an EX no problem. And I wouldn't worry about the dual output vs single.

On another note though I wouldn't pay too much for a 15 year old stock exhaust.
