Electric supercharger

Default Electric supercharger
My cousin bought a crappy electric supercharger the other day, and I must say it looks like a piece of crap. There is no way these things can work, right?[/align]

The concept is OK, you just need a serious motor & a properly designed compressor. And an alternator capable of powering it. That's NOT what he bought...

is that the one thats runs staright off your battery, Yeah those prb block the air coming in rather then forcing more in. I woulndt trust it. But hey since he brought one tell us if he feels any gains.

Did he buy a turbonator or just one of those "supercharger" fans that goes inline with your intake and runs off the battery?
