Default Electric window off track?

The driver side window on my 91 Accord LX appears to off its track. When I put it down the last time it came down unevenly. I pushed a bit on the window and it straghtened out but I was afraid to try putting it back up for fear of breaking the window or something else. Any ideas on this and how to fix? I plan on taking it to a dealer to get it fixed but if it is't too bad I coudl try myself. It is getting too cold to drive with it down.

depends how skilled you are - the window-regulator construction is not complicated however if regulator is broken its quite an expensive piece - if you have to replace it see if you can get a used one off junk yard first

Thanks for your reply. Not sure if the regulator needs to be replaced or not, but how expensive is this part?
Thanks.

the window regulator is not 200 bucks. its 64.99. i just had to order one for my girlfriends accord. And if your window regulator motor is bad its 124.99. and that was through schucks. dont go to the dealer they will be way over priced. its not hard to change the regulator its only 6 bolts.
