just need to know if I got a shorted wire or if I need a noew module... for the past 3 days everytime I use my left turn signal my speedometer bounces erratically, also if I leave the left turn signal on for more than about 30 seconds the windshield wipers activate, also my intermediate wiper setting doesnt work, i flip it to the intermediate and they run just slightly slower than low speed.

it sounds to me like the module itself is shorting out.... I assume that the speedometer bounces like it's loosing power then getting it back, kindof in time with the blinker? Has this ever worked properly?

yeah its always worked fine, what the speedometer will do is every like 3rd or 4th click of the turnsignal the speedometer will bounce to 0 then back up to whatever speed im running at the time. not a slow decent but just bam to zero then back to the speed im running.

I was just looking at a wiring diagram for a 91 and it's possible that your combo switch can mess with it but I can't figure out how to test it exactly... I'm going to leave this one up to someone smarter than me...

Turn signals don't go thru the clockspring. That's for airbags & cruise-control switches.

So this is on a '90 Accord??

Yes, 90 accord LX. I have already pulled of the steering wheel to check the multi switch. Everything seems good there. I don't have the time to run a full continuity check to see if there is a short somewhere. What is this module that is being talked about?
