Hey guys,
I have a honda accord 2005. In the past year, the noises under my hood have gotten progressively worse. I've attached a sound file of what my car sounds like. It sounds like a truck. I opened the hood and recorded what it sounds like.

Is that my engine or the belt? What do I need to get replaced in order to get it fixed?

 

V-6 or 4-cyl?
Could be valves need to be adjusted; especially if the sound is located under the valve cover.

 

ah my apologies.. i forgot to mention that. It's a V6.

Is adjustments of valves expensive?
