Hey guys, just got my car back after 3 weeks and my check engine light came on. It's giving code P0171. I think I know what the problem is but I'm also confused! I just got an F22B6 from a 96 Odyssey put in my Accord. The mechanic told me that the exhaust manifolds were different, and that the exhaust manifold gaskets didn't match up. I'm thinking this is my probem? I did notice that my engine smells kinda strong, so I'm thinking if I get the right exhaust manifold gasket that the code should go away. The only thing is I don't see a difference between an exhaust manifold gasket for a 97 Accord, and one for a 97 Odyssey!!! WTF!?

P.S. Where do I find the torque specs for the exhaust manifold? I can't find them...

 

Well I bought a new gasket, installed it, and my check engine light went off. Now I wait to see if it's gonna come back on because I reset my ecu to clear the code.
