Default Engine cutting off at idle

Okay so I have a 2001 EX Sedan, 5speed. A few months ago it started cutting off at idle. Been driving a loaner car for a while, everyone kept telling me to replace the fuel filter. $140 later I did. No change. Drives fine on the highway. But as soon as I put the clutch in without any gas it'll cut off every time. Doesn't happen on a cold engine, but If I crank it and let it idle for 5 minutes it'll cut off. My instinct tells me it still a fuel problem.

The car is still driveable, but it's annoying and dangerous coming up to red lights having to keep a foot on the gas.

241,000 miles
EFI Relay replaced fall 2015
Fuel pump and filter replaced today 02/13/17

Any suggestions? Other than driving this car off a cliff?

Generally the fuel filter is only called for by an actual measurement of fuel pressure.

The idle control system can be a little finicky on those cars. It can be confused by seemingly-unrelated things like air in the cooling system.

If that doesn't help any, it may be that the IACV need to be cleaned or replaced.

You need to diagnose the problem before replacing any more parts.

Can you get the vehicle scanned for codes? Most parts stores will scan it for free. The code starts with the letter P and have four numbers, like P1234. Post the actual code(s) on here.
