Engine Idle Vibration
Hi, I'm new to the forum and am just wondering how well this works. I have a 96 Honda Accord LX and I have a pretty hard vibration at idle after the engine warms up. I have tried to diagnose this problem and have removed and cleaned the IAC valve, turned the fast idle valve down, turned the idle screw in and out on the throttle body, and changed plugs and wires. The car still vibrates at idle. Sometimes it will surge. I was told that the rear motor mount could be my issue because of the hydraulic solenoid but it appears to be just fine. The rubber is not dry rotted or broken. The engine runs fine when im in the gas. What else could I do? Has anyone else had this problem?
My pleasure....but I'm not sure what I really did but if something I said helped.....glad it worked out
and thanks for coming back with the solution....too many time we never know what the solution was/is.
