Default Engine Miss-fire

Hello everyone, while self-inspecting a Honda Accord 91 Ex w/ 213000KMS highway driving, I stumbled upon a problem... When in Drive at a red light the engine/steering wheel started shaking. At first I thought it was the transmission engine mount that was the problem... but then again, it could also be the oil that has leaked on top or near spark plugs? I am no mechanic... Help would greatly be appreciated.

WHOM EVER LIVES IN MONTREAL/LAVAL, free inspection at any Honda dealer for 2008 Honda and older.

She's not pretty, but she works.

If you have oil on the wires/in the spark plug tubes, then that could cause the issue.

Since you just got the car, if you don't have records of when the cap, rotor, plugs, test the wires was done. I'd put that on the list along with the valve cover gasket and tube seals.

its always a good idea to replace your plugs/wires/cap/rotor, which would possibly reduce the vibrations. if there was oil in the plugs however, then you have a oil leaking from 1 of the seals.

* if you car idles either too high or too low, that is a reason for the vibrations while stopped also. dont quote me on this..but i think its like 750-950? for idle rpm while in drive and stopped. going under that will cause heavy vibrations, and possibly stall, while going over will also result in vibrations but more of a sound frequency because of the rpms.

Default Rough revving idle problem caused by this?

Hello, when in drive and stopped at a light, especially when warmed up, the car begins to vibrate, has difficulty switching gears. very unpleasant to drive.
Can it be cause by this picture here?

Wire for #3 sparkplug is dislodged? I guess I'd take out the sparkplug & take a look. That can certainly cause misfiring, but why did the wire pop off? If you plug is back in, will it keep popping off?

ps. This is becoming a fix-it thread, I'll move it over to General Tech where it belongs.

^ Good catch, that #3 spark plug wire looks highly questionable.
