Default Engine running rough when coming to a stop

Hello everyone, I have a 2000 accord LX automatic with 56000 miles. My problem is the engine seems to shake a little and the tach drops to near zero sometimes when I am coming to a stop. This seems to happen more when I am coming to a stop ona downhill. Does this make any sense? What do you all think is the problem. Also I drove my friend 2001 accord the other day and i noticed his accord has a lot more power than mines. Which got me to thinking that my accord is losing power. What can I do about that? ShouldI take it intoHonda and have them look at it? I don't know too much about cars so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When was the last time you changed the spark plugs?

Idle could be set a little to low. Stopping downhill requires more vacuum from the engine. Check the plugs, wires, distributor, and air filter.
