Default Engine swap

I'm getting ready to swap out my engine on my 99 honda accord v6 vtec. I'm replacing it with the same j30 engine. So my question is what is the best way to pull the engine thru the top with out trans connect or to drop it thru the bottom with trans? I have some experience pulling engines, only been on older rear wheel drive cars. Not sure of the difference on front wheel drive cars. Any info on this would be helpful , since i am having a difficult time finding the right info.

Here is a video on a V6 engine swap on an Acura TL. Should be similar to the V6 accord.

Without watching the video, I'd say out the top with the trans attached. I only say that as you basically already have all the mounts unbolted anyway just 2 get 1 or the other out. Going from top allows you to see what you're doing too.
