Default Engine Troubleshooting

1999 Accord EX 4cyl.- 103K ....at speed of 50..60.70..can feel slight studder in engine as if it is missing. Replaced timing belt, plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor, verified timing, ohm tested coil, checked fuel pressure regulator, put fuel injector cleaner in 2 times....Any suggestions?

Does the check engine light turn on or D4 light start flashing when driving? Also, what rpm range does it happen?

And... was it doing this before you changed the timing belt?

cant say it was doing it before the timing belt was replaced. I verified timing to be sure i wasnt off by a tooth. no check engine light...seems to be noticeable around 2000-3000 steady RPMs only. very slight jump...

The one thing I can think of is cleaning the EGR port.

The 98-02 4 cylinder requires removing the throttle body and upper intake manifold. It isn't too bad to remove.

See this thread with some info:

I was thinking of the balance-shaft belt being a bit off time. I assume you checked that too?
