engine won't start

Default engine won't start

alright well my car would start fine after like the first week i bought it then one day i tried starting it and nothing i checked the fuses some of them where bad and some were completely the wrong number but i got all those replaced the battery terminals were all messed up so i replaced them i checked the alternator, tried jumping it, charged the battery and still nothing the lights and radio work but the engine won't start the only thing left that i can think of is the starter.

is the fuel pump coming on?
could be a pgmfi relay

no I'm starting to think its the ignition cuzz therez no noise at all... and it was broken into before and they ripped out the bottom of the steering wheel and u can turn the ignition with anything that fitz in it but sometimes it getz stucc

Check the Blk/Wht wire at the starter electrical connection for 12V w/ keyswtich in ON position. If you don't have 12V, the keyswtich is faulty. If you have 12V, the starter solenoid is bad. They can be replaced, but most simply replace the entire starter.

Are we talking about a 72 Pinto?

TRUCHA, you need to tell us exactly what kind of car you have. Hondas been making Accords for about 30 years & (surprise) theyre not all the same. Most recent years there were several engine & tranny choices too. For 95-02 the V-6 was so much different from the 4-cyl that you may as well call them different cars.

Auto = check for neutral safety switch.
Manual = check the clutch switch
