Default Enging would not start, clicks once

Hi guys,

Here is my story: I had a P0116 code with an engine check light on. So, I replaced the thermostat, radiator fan switch and the engine coolant temperature sensor. Flushed the radiator coolant out and changed the engine oil/filter. Assembled everything together to just find that my car wont start anymore! It gives me a click noise.

I tried jump starting it but no luck. Any ideas guys? Where is the started motor located? I can do some testing if needed.

Thank you,
Neil

Sound like the starter to me, the clicking sound is usually a good indication. It would help us tell you where its located if you told us the year and model of your car.

Put your year/model in your signature so we know what accord you have.

I got the problem fixed! Its really stupid but I had the main positive end connector (the one that goes to the starter) loose. So, the solenoid was engaging but the starter motor didn't have power to start.

Haha...how embarassing.

Anyways, thank you guys. I love this forum. If any one needs help with the P0116 code or ECT sensor, let me know!

Dont think of it as embarresing, just think of it as something that slipped your mind
