Default Evap Control Canister

Took a 50 mile trip and got off the interstate and noticed smoke coming from under the car, pulled over and looked for the problem. I believe it was a liquid draining out of the Purge Air Hose and spraying on the catalyctic converter. Check Engine Light never came on and it didn't store any codes and was wondering if this is something i should be worried about.

Did you fill gasoline when you got off? Reason is, I wonder about overfilling the tank & somehow liquidgetting thru the vent line to the EVAP canister. If it were gasoline, you should have smelled it.

Or do you think it could have been the water drain from the ventilation air ducts?
