ive got a 04 thats throwing a p2422 "EVAP Control Canister " it was a flood car and when i was looking into them i noticed that they were full of nast flood water.. can i bybass EVAP Control Canister or just dump the water out????

 

There is no way to simply bypass that system. You may want to try draining the water to see if that fixes the problem. The code is for the vent shut valve and the water could have corroded the valve. It my need to be replaced. Also check the electrical connectors for corrosion.

On older accords, that valve would get corroded due to exposure to salty roads. I haven't read about problems with that valve in 03+ accords, so you may be able to find a cheap replacement at a junkyard.
