ex vtec

Default ex vtec

On the 1992 honda accord, Is the ex vtec or not. Why do the ex automatic have a sport overide on the shifter what is the function/ benifits. Can you ad this to an lx

I can only answer that the 92 EX has a vtec engine.

Just look at the valve cover to see if it says vtec to double-check, because the engine could have been swapped with a non-vtec engine.

There was no Accord Vtec Engine in 1992.
The Sport shift button changes shift points/pressure.
The Ex has a different TCU from the LX, so putting in a shifter with the 'S' button would be a total waste of time.
