Default exhaust question

My intermediate pipe broke right at the point after the resonator today. I got a new pipe and all the fixins, but I'm having a hell of a time getting the flange part off because it is rusted on. Does anyone have any tips or tricks as I'm about to use dynamite to get it off? I have soaked it with WD40 but the bolts still wouldn't budge. I finally cut them off but they still won't come out. Many thanks in advance. Oh yeah, I have a 1996 Accord LX.

Heat, like a portable torch might help.
