Default fan keeps working after car shut off

Is it normal? Fan keeps working for a couple minutes after the car is turned off.

Some years it's normal, other years it's not. Honda has had 3 or 4 different control logic schemes for the radiator fans over the years.

Up to about '97 it's normal for it to run for a bit, IF the engine is sufficiently hot. It won't always run, especially in winter or if you don't drive far enough to get it hot.

Beginning in '98 it's not normal to run after.

Beginning in '03 I'm not sure yet...

Sounds normal to me. It shouldn'trun long enough to run down the battery.

You are correct. If the car is hot enough it will continue to run even after you shut the car off....
