Default Flashing warning lights

I just replaced the alternator on my 2002 accord with an aftermarket alternator manufactured by Champion. Bought at CTC) Now when driving the following warning lights come on all at the same time ebrake, charge indicator and all doors, trunk and brake lamp out. They stay on a few seconds, then off for a minute or so then the cycle repeats. Happens only when driving, not idling. Should I have stuck with honda parts?

Got a multi-meter? Measure the voltage at the battery terminals.
1. with everything turned off, after parked overnight.
2. engine idling, everything else turned off.
3. engine idling, everything turned ON (headlights, blower, stereo, window defogger, etc).

Thanks. I will try this in the morning. I spoke to a tech rep at honda dealership and they advised that aftermarket alternators are not advised. The flashing lights are an indication that the alternator is faulty. I have an oem on order.

This often happens when there is no or low charging from the alternator. Make sure its the right amp for your vehicle and double check the connectors.

Did you turn in your original alternator for the core charge? Sometimes it's only the voltage regulator that's bad. That's the reason for testing stuff.

I checked the output at the battery, engine running and got 14.5 volts.

Turned in. This was a new alternator, not a rebuilt. Didn't think new would be bad.
