Fluttering tach

Question Fluttering tach

i recently noticed that my tach fluttering.. i have a autometer and it flutters all the time but the factory tach some of the time any one have any idea of wat could cause this

Loose connections on the tach signal wire (blue) from the distributor could cause this. Also, check teh grounds in the area as well.

Yes check your connections,more than likely rusted ground connection.

does any know where the ground for the distributor is located on the cd5
