You didn't answer my question about the CV joint.
Anyway, put the 4 bolts back in, but only screw them in a couple of turns. Hit the bolts with a hammer (that is why I asked if the CV joint is out of the way) in a criss-cross pattern to get the bearing out.

I think that the threads are only in the bearing.
You will find out quickly. If you have to start threading them as soon as the bolt touches the knuckle, then the knuckle has threads. I don't think that is the case.
