I have a noise in the front end that occurs once almost every time I start up and move forward. It sounds like a scraping noise and lasts just a second or two. It also occurs at about 8 MPH. The car is a 2005 Accord EX V6 with automatic transmission. I asked the dealer about it, and they said that it was probably an ABS brake check. He didn't sound too confident about it, so I;m not sure, either. I understand that Camry's do this, but this isn't a Toyota. Is anyone aware of this? It's been going on since the car was almost new and it hasn't gotten worse in the last 20,000 miles or so. I have about 28,000 miles on the car.

 

I would take it to a good honda shop and have that checked out, sounds like future trouble brewing for you!
