Front Brakes?????????????????????????

I have had brake problems ever since I bought my 04 accord, The dealer has replaced the front rotors twice and turned them twice, I only have 37,500 miles, now my front tires have an out of balance issue and they won't admit the car has problems and replace the tires. Me and my wife both drive the car and we are not the type that ride the brake pedal. We barely put 12,000 miles a year on the car and this brake issue is really starting to tick me off, I feel like getting rid of it. has anyone had any issues with brakes??
Thanks,
Fran

Hi New Member..
If your dealorship gives you no help, then you have to go over there heads and call up Hondas Satisfaction line or e-mail them at there web site and tell them of the problem.
This usually gets the results you need.

are the tires wearing evenly ?
at 37,500 you cannot expect the dealer to give you new tires ,, most tires last about that long before you need to replace them anyways ,, have you had tire problems as well as brake problems while car was under warranty ?
as for the brakes i had the same issue as you,, i drive a 2003 accord and they had to replace the rotors and pads 2 times while car was under warranty,, as well as i resurfaced them once ,,,,,,,Honda came up with supposely updated brake pads that should eliminate that problem,
I'd suggest that the next time you need pads try Wagner Thermal Quiet. They are a little bit softer compound, but won't have excess dusting nor will they glaze the rotor.
I have had similar problems in the past on my 94 and other cars. I have had the monkeys that rotate and balnace the tires reinstall the lug nuts with the same 800lb. gorilla air wrench they took them off with. This can warp the rotor. Lug nuts should always be tightened with a torque wrench or the very least a torque stick on the air tool. Usually around 100-110ft/lbs. Something to consider.

does anyone know if the rotors are the same size as the 6th gen cars?
it seems like 03 and newer accords are suffering from "the front brakes are too small for the car" syndrome. This was a common problem with the 86 to 91 Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable cars. Either that or they are using cheap a$$ parts......
So the accords even come with 15" wheels anymore?
