While driving over bumps my front ends make a kind of metal clunking noise. I just replaced the ball joints and it made no difference at all. I have read that it could be a lower control arm bushing going bad. All of the CV joints are good. It is a 92 accord with 180000 miles on it. Its only really coming from the driver side as well.

 

Also check the anti-roll bar.Also the pivot bushings & end linksfor that bar.
