Default Front Fog Lights

Hi Guys,

First of all thanks for all the help found in this forum but unfortunately, I cannot find a reply to my minor problem.

I recently bought a used 2005 Accord 2.2L I CTDI EX and the front fog lights are not working at all. I removed their cover to see any access to change the bulb but couldn't find any bulb socket, checked the fusebox (under bonnet) but again there's not a specific fuse for the front fog light. Then I contacted the dealer from whom I bought the car and said that the fog lights cannot have the bulbs replaced since it's like one whole thing (i.e. holder + bulb in one whole piece). Can any of you verify such thing or let me know of a solution?

Thanks,
Kenneth

This could be as simple as a relay.

I'd check for power and ground going to the lights. If those are there, then the bulbs are the issue. If not, we will have to work back.

I'm going to assume that means you do not have power (12v) to the lights.

You'll now want to check the realy and the input/output of it.

This one is a bit hard for me, in the US the fog lights were a dealer option so there isn't a factory wire diagram I can follow....or at least one I can find. So I'm using this "www.bernardiparts.com/Images/Install/2005_Accord_Sdn_Foglights_AII27470.pdf" to try to help.

Thanks for your reply, but the fog lights you listed appear to be totally different. In the meantime, I'll try to check the relays as you mentioned and also try to upload a couple of photos maybe someone had already encountered this problem.

Thanks,
Kenneth
