Default Fuel additives - What's the real scoop?

Hi guys

1989 accord dx, auto trans, carb, 133k. Car runs great and no problems.

My question is on fuel antifreeze and other additives. I live in Denver Colorado and I am new to the area and lived all my life in southern California. Some people tell me to use fuel additives and antifreeze additives like (Heat) every tank full, others says they never use anything.

I would like to hear any comments, pros and cons on these. The only thing I have ever used was a can of BG44K when I first bought the car and yes, that stuff does work.

Thanks

Yea Bg makes the best stuff in the biz. I use it all the time. Most other additives are garbage. BG is the best way to go.

I dont know anything about anti freeze but I do slap a bottle of Valvoline FI cleaner in with a full tank of gas at every oil change.
