Fuel Filter - Fuel Pump ??
1995 Honda Accord LX 2.7L Sedan
I just bought a Honda OEM Fuel Filter 16010-ST5-E02 direct from Honda on Amazon. It says made in Korea. is this ok? I was expecting a Japanese part. I saw on ebay a guy is selling 16010-ST5-922 Superceed to 16010-ST5-E02 which is made in Japan.
Fuel Pump - I picked up a OEM Original Fuel Pump on Ebay a year ago as a back up. Its in the original box, packaging, labeling etc. Got it from a man who bought it for his daughters car and never used it.
Should I have the Fuel Pressure tested before I have a new Fuel Filter installed and then after its installed to see if there is a difference? what is correct range for fuel pressure for this car? and can the Fuel Pump be tested before its installed into the car to make sure its working?
thanks folks!

Fuel pressure should be 40-47 psi with the pressure regulator vacuum hose disconnected and engine running.
You can test the fuel pressure before and after fuel filter replacement to see if there is a difference. I'd lean towards not replacing any parts if you get a normal reading.
The made in Korea fuel filter is probably, since you got it from Honda. Honda sources OEM parts from many suppliers/locations.
I'd also not install a new fuel pump unless you are having issues with the current. I am almost positive that you have to drop the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump, so it is a lot of work and may give you no gains. If you are having an issue like hard starts, where the fuel pump check valve fails, then that certainly warrants replacing the pump.

There is no access panel to the fuel pump on the 94-97 accords the back seat/trunk.. You will have to drop the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump. The access panel in the trunk returned starting with the 1998 Accords.
