hey everyone, i've just had this problem for a while and just irritating me. My fuel gauge always goes down but goes up again, I figured the float in the fuel tank must be getting stuck or something but I'm still not sure what it is Anyone have any ideas?

 

Maybe a flaky wiring connection from the sender?

 

Try a can of Techron fuel cleaner. I've heard this can clear the deposits on the potentiometer that get shorted causing the inaccurate readings. Reportedly sulfur in gas causes the problem.

Probably other fuel cleaners may work also.
